You haven't mentioned your category and Home State here. At 88 percentile, you rank comes out to be AIR 122760 - 138000. Now, at this rank you will not get any branch in BIT Mesra whether you are from home state or any other state as cutoff of all the branches closes at 65k.

In Anna university for any B tech course the eligibility criteria is 12th pass or any equivalent degree with minimum aggregates of 50 percent marks in physics, chemistry and maths as a compulsory subject and the selection criteria for Anna university, the counseling is conducted by TNEA and selection is based on the mark obtain the 12 or equivalent degree course from the reconginsed school or university. For BE also the candidates should get minimum 50 percent in PCM as a compulsory subject in 12th and the admission based on the 12th mark. There are a total of 40 seats allocated for Candidates belonging to General Category of other States. And 10 seats are allotted for Candidates belonging to SC and ST Categories for Andhra pradesh students.
To get admission in to NITs or IITs you need to have minimum 550-700 GATE score. if you have such score you have decent chances of getting seat in IITs or NITs. Considering the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in IIT, Guwahati in Computer Assisted Manufacturing the GATE cut off score was 401 for OBC-NCL category. The cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.
