PSUs offer different position to engineers with different salary structures.Being government owned organization working in PSUs has benefits like Dearness Allowance, CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Pension, Medical benefits etc.

It is comparatively lower than cse or IT branches

Dear Candidate,

After completing your Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , you can't get admission in IIT's. There are many colleges in India which offers B.Tech Lateral Entry to diploma holders. By this you are directly admitted to that college in 2nd year. But it is not the case with IIT's.
