If you prefer good NIT over a good branch, then i suggest you to prefer NIT surathkal instead of manit bhopal because nit surathkal has a better ranking.If you prefer good branch over good college then prefer manit because you can get mechanical jobs anywhere in the world

As per previous years records your category rank would be around 45-50k and with this rank it is not possible to get seat in NIT krurkshetra in mechanical engg. You can check it out here

The rank seems good to me and if we consider the previous year cutt-off of BCECE  PCM group which is 9281 I would suggest you that you have chances to get a college. And offcourse your category rank is also going to help you.

I would suggest you go for CSE branch in CVR college of Engineering. CVR has been ranked 141 by NIRF whereas Chaitanya Bharti institute of Technology has been ranked 151 by NIRF. Apart from the ranking the placement opportunities in CVR college are far better than CBIT.
