what if i have less than 60% aggregate in 12th PCM and if i have scored more then 60% in BE MECHANICAL? would i get admission in GME?

Hi Armaan,

For getting admission in GME, You should have to Graduation in BE /B TECH (Mechanical Engineering) with a minimum of 50% (some college need 55-60%) aggregate marks in Degree. & Also have Minimum 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th or other degree.

Yes , NIT Meghalaya is good . All NIT are good according to me. The faculty is also good . They have good placement record too.

The fee structure for NIT Meghalaya is :

Tuition fee is 62,000 Rs per semester

Yes you should go for councelling when it gets started.

You are having fair chances of getting a NIT with Mechanical branch.

Some good NITs you can look for are like MNIT Allahabad and Jaipur..

With your caste reservation things will turn a little more easier for you.

It is quite difficult to predict your actual rank so your approximate rank at 83 percentile would be147, 731 remember it is when if we don't consider category wise rank. Now using this rank you can use previous year cut off list of JEE mains which can definitely help
