If you are in Mechanical branch and preparing for GATE, the most important part is your core subjects. Lay more stress on those. Mechanical Engineering is evergreen branch.you can think of cracking GATE or cracking IES.while mechatronics engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with both electrical and mechanical engineering.

rcf stands for rastriya chemicals and fertilizers limited. see as it is a manufacturing organization it has some works related with mechanical engineers. however in any psu or government sector if you have some source or known person in the organization then it is easier to get vocational training

hai sir actually am from mechanical engineering there is paper 1 and paper 2 of gate i received admit card of paper 2 (s2) actually my doubt is i have to appear for both paper 1 and paper 2 or else only for paper 2 which is mentioned in admit card

Only paper 2 u have to attend..As mentioned in the instructions if u had gone through "candidates are requested to attend only the session in which the admit card mentioned" attending to both the papers might result in cancellation of your exam".please go through the instructions in the concerned website
