i get nit srinagar metallurgy vs iet lucknow/bit ghansi mechanical wich is best as a point of placement and study, and higher education

Sumit_1492180752 Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2019

Hello

BIT Jhasi Mechanical has more opportunities both in govt and private field plus you get that BIT tag along with it.Metallurgy is a good field but has less scope and it is all about Extraction of metals from earth's core and how to make mining process more efficient.

Evene in higher education Mechanical wins you get a lot of better opportunities in mechanical field.

Hope it helps

MY RANK IN DELHI CET 2019 IS 3970 . PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHETHER I WILL GET A GOVT COLLEGE (prefered BRANCH:- MECHANICAL / COMPUTER )?

Vaibhav Raj Srivastava 22nd Jun, 2019

Hey Avanish,

You can get a government college in the counselling of Delhi CET 2019 with rank of 3970, but it is not possible to get your preferred branches with this rank in a government college. However, there are some possibilities ( very less ) that you might get a seat in these preferred branches but only in the later rounds of counselling.

Sir I got 66704 rank in JEEE mains my cast is OC. I need mechanical is it possible to get any NIT ?

Divyansh masiwal 22nd Jun, 2019
Hello,
According to your rank and assuming that your are a open category aspirant , then you can get mechanical engineering in the north eastern nits like nit manipur, sikkim etc and other lower ranked nits too in the spot rounds done by csab round.
But you can't be sure of spot rounds seat because it highly depends on how many students are taking part in it and are there any seats remaining that college.
You can have a look on jee main college predictor.

For mechanical branch which college is better between jssate Banglore and Sahyadri college of engineering and management manglore regards ?

Anuj_1525372683 Student Expert 1st Aug, 2019

Hi there

Both mentioned colleges struggle in placing students from mechanical department. However, in case of other branches the placement record of both the colleges is pretty good.

Sahyadri college of engineering and management, Mangalore is a better option in this case.

Overall Placements are good in college, 400+ students have been placed this year. Computer Science and Information Science students have maximum number of placements in the college. Mechanical students have less opportunities. Its still better than jssate Bangalore.

Faculty members of the college is very good in mechanical department. They are friendly and teach with full enthusiasm.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

IIEST shibpur ,is this college good for Mechanical engineering . And it situated in West Bengal so what is the food like veg or non veg?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Aug, 2019

Hello dear student,

Greetings! !

It's a very good college for mechanical engineering. If you are bengali and love fish or non veg you will love the food there , you will also get to eat local vegetables which you can't find anywhere else. Placement is good at IIET. On a average around 20-25 companies visit the campus for placements . Around 70-75% of students are placed every year with an average salary package of ₹3.5lkhs per annum.

thankyou
