See i think you should undersand the fact that the figure of 261 consist of various branches combined. And there won't be more than 15-20 seats vacant in each branch. And some might have no seat vacant too. Your rank is decent and you should get a seat

Prefer branch over college since after graduating you might get fed up due to the branch you are in which you dont even like so go for mechanical in BIT sundari but always follow your passion even if it is CSE.
