Hope you are doing well.
I am really sorry to say but with 47400 OBC category rank in JEE Mains paper 1, you can't get admission in any NIT or IIIT or GFTI ( Not even the lowest branches of lowest colleges), since the closing rank for OBC

According to your rank it is very difficult to get mechanical engineering department in NIT jamshedpur under home state quota based on previous year opening and closing rank.

What is the girls and boys ratio in mechanical engineering in Calicut nit???

The girls to boys ratio in branches like cse ,ece is around 1:4 .

Where as in mechanical the ratio would be around 1:8 .

It is lower when compared to cse or IT branches.

With this OBC rank of 9319, mechanical or most of the better chances seem impossible to me in majority of not just NITs but most of the JOSAA institutes. You can see previous year cut-off for some lower colleges like north eastern NITs but maybe you can be dissapointed looking
