Actually rank required in JCECE for to get Bit Sindri it mainly depends on which branch u want ? If you take core branch then CML rank should upto 400 for general and upto 600 for OBC and for other branch you can take with rank upto 1000 for general

• Sreenidhi institute of science and technology( both mechanical and electrical and electronics engineering)
• CVSR  ( both mechanical and electrical and electronics engineering)
• CVR ( in mechanical)

Hi Nitin, I think with this rank it will be difficult for you to get any good government college especially CSE. In my opinion, you should apply for private colleges. You might get CSE or Mechanical.

The main factor that needs to be considered while differentiating between two branches is the PLACEMENTS.

Based on the 2018 Placement statistics of Jadavpur, 88.57% of the Chemical branch students got placed and 86.59% of Mechanical branch students got placed.

The Average package for Chemical was 5.92 LPA
