SEE with no doubt VRSEC is better than ANU for Mechanical engineering .

VRSEC provides better placemnts, better infrastructure, better social life, better faculty, better food and accomodation.

No internships are provided by the ANU college and is also weaker academically. Companies are'nt much attracted to this college.

Accordingly you can get Mechanical Engineering  in many colleges like . SDM College of engineering and technology,  Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, 

AMC engineering college Banglore etc.

Institute of Engineering and management will be a better option. It has been ranked higher and is also an affiliated college. Though both are good, IEM has better placements and infrastructure. However, Heritage institute of technology has lower fees and more seats. Hope this helped!
