Hi, according to last year data cutoff score for admission in btech mechanical engineering in Kj somaiya college, Mumbai was 139 in jee mains or mht cet for general category and obc category is not applicable in this college. Other category like sc or st is applicable in the college.So,

If you go according to the previous year cutoff rank then it state that you need to score 139 in mhcet so you can probably get a seat in Mechanical branch easily and since you have an OBC category then there would be some kind of relaxation on the cutoff

Which college should I choose from Oriental and SIRT BHOPAL For mechanical engineering?

Hi Neelesh,

Ifyou have a choice between both of these colleges, I'd suggest that you should go to Oriental. 

In terms of placement, maximum times, only TCS comes to the campus.

In terms of education and faculty, some teachers at SIRT Bhopal are really good though.

Yes! You can get mechanical and civil branch in some of the NITs. If your state contains good NIT. Then under state Quota you have a chance of getting it.

As per your rank in JEE mains your chances are a bit low to get admitted in ME branch in any of the Colleges.
However, you can try for your home state NIT through your home state quota.
