It's average.  I am a student of HIT.  If we talk about placement in core branches like civil,  mechanical,  it's not good.

Your rank is very good in JEE Mains. Considering the last years cutoff you could easily get admission in Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Netaji Subash University of Technology (NSUT) in Computer Science and Engineering. As the closing rank for CSE is nearly 30k and 23k respectively.
