i suggest you Nit jalandhar mechanical is better than punjab engineering college in all terms like placement and also mechanical of course has the best scope in future it can also be called as evergreen branch.

Afterall NIT's are always better than local engineering colleges.

I am very sorry to say that you won't be able to get a seat in of Sastra University for mechanical as the seats fill up below 2000 ranks for these courses.
