Chances are less to get Mechanical engineering in VIT University vellore campus, but there are many chances to get Mechanical Engineering at Chennai campus. In terms of placements, faculty and facilities both the campuses are quite same. The campus size of chennai is smaller than vellore

It would be difficult to tell you the exact about the admission possibilities. HBTU Kanpur will conduct separate counseling for B.Tech. admissions on the basis of JEE (Mains) 2019 merit. However you can check the previous year Opening & closing rank of HBTU with the given below link.
