there are two options, either you prepare on your own as JAM requires knowledge of B.Sc. maths as well or you should prepare for integrated Ph.D. and M.Tech. only.

You should join coaching institutions and start with fundamental.

From third yesr you should be clear with all basics and fundamental and move into advanced level probkems.
Make sure you have enough practical mock exams appeared to know your weak areas.

Focus on them and spend more time ro resolve

Mechanical engineering and industrial design engineering ar ehighly coorelated and forms base for all manufacturing and industrial management technologies.

CSE is related ro computer applications and hardware and hence has no correlation and not recommended.

MS in Product design can be done by any Graduate irrespective of his graduate field
