Both the branches are lion.
Placement of both are awesome. Scope are also very vast for both.
But ECE will be more better because in a report it is predicted that in four years scope of ECE will be very vast even more than CSE.

The last year cutoffs for mechanical engineering in NIT andhra pradesh was 28082 . So , if the cutoffs decrease or remain the same , then you have no chance . But if , you belong to reserved category or cutoff ranks increase , then you may have a

According to last year cut-off you will definitely get NIT but I am not sure about mechanical branch so please go for other branches also if you have chances for CS, IT etc.
