Mechanical branch at MMM College is better as compared to other courses taught there.A decent number of students clear GATE with really good ranks .But placement is a not reliable to get a job

There is no restriction in getting a good job if you complete your engineering through lateral entry. There are plenty of opportunities under mechanical engineering even through lateral entry which you can go for so no need to worry.
