category wise GATE minimum qualifying percentage , past years GATE cutoffs which further includes year wise cutoffs, course wise cutoffs

Basically your cet score matters first if your jee score is not that good because jee score is considered as AIR ranking reference score but cet score will be just for some limited no. Of candidates so that's the main point
In 35000 rank you can apply to sjce, mvnit ,pes college of engineering you can check also our careers360 comedk previous years cutoff you will surely get an idea since its a core branch so it needs rank under 5000 in some top collges.
You can expect rank above 10,000. There are very less chances that councelling will also be elegible at this rank, therefore mechnical branch is not possible.
