I scored 94.4% in my 12th and my Best Of 4 marks is 94.75%. Will i get into DU for journalism?

Congratulations for getting such a good score.
See, there are 2 ways to get to a JOURNALISM college in DU.
1. DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test)
2. Cut-off
So here are the colleges which accepts DUET.

Indraprastha College for Women
Delhi School of Journalism

Since these colleges grant admission on the basis of DUET so you can GIVE the exam without worrying about your score.

The colleges with cut offs which gives admission on the basis of cut off(only last cut off is mentioned) incudes -

Delhi College of Arts & Commerce - 93.75
Maharaja Agrasen College of Delhi - 89
Institute of Home Economics - 90
Kamala Nehru College - 94
Kalindi College - 88
Bharati College - 86

These all are the closing or last cut offs.
Unfortunately you can't make to LSR with this score.

My SET 2019 score is 87/150 what are the chances of being selected for the 2nd round for Symbiosis Centre For Media & Communication

Hey Surbhi,

According to the cutoff report of SLAT 2018, the cutoff was 91 for general category. Your score is average as compared to the required score which means you might or might not get an admission in Symbiosis Centre, Pune for BA mass communication.

Dear Untamed,

Yes, it is a good career option. If you are passionate about this career then go for it without any doubt. It is one of the noblest profession. You will need to put your heart and soul as there is a lot of competition now. For journalism, you need to get 55% in 12th grade. You can take BA in journalism and mass communication. Some colleges may conduct their own exam too.

The du - Jat or the Delhi university joint entrance examination is not for seeking admissions to the Bachelor's in journalism and mass communication but is for selecting students for the courses like Bachelor's in management studies/bachelor's in finance and investment analysis and for the Bachelor's in business economics courses offered by some Colleges of the Delhi university . For getting admissions in the bjmc course offered by Delhi university there are no entrance exams but is purely merit based . Hello abhijeet.
Regarding your query. It's simply impossible to get a job in LSTV or DDnews as there recruitment is consider as a permanent government job. The problem is the degree provided by India today institute is not recognized by govt or to be specific by UGC so it is not possible for you to get any government oriented job. On the basis of courses done in India today institute. The degree is just mere a certificate of experience or completing the course which helps one in polishing there CV.
