Hello, Im in 12th and i want to opt for traveling journalism can you send help me opting that? Plz send me the site for that too.

Fiza Student Expert 23rd Feb, 2019

Hi Aanandi,

Travelling journalism is a very interesting field to get in. Well, most institutes do not offer specialisation as Travel journalism, but they offer a specialised degree in Journalism or a specialised degree in travel and tourism. You are mixing two careers. No institute offers this combined course.

Additionally, for your information, Journalism has many specialisations like Health, sports, media, etc. Similarly, you could opt for Tourism Journalism, where you write articles related to only tourism.

Hope this helps!

I have done b.com but there is ree in my exam...can I get the admission in post graduate diploma in journalism nd mass communication...

megha bali 31st Mar, 2019

Hey Heena,

yes you can get admission in mass communication and journalism course but that completely depends on the university you want to get admitted in . There are a number of niversities who do not consider students with a back papar in queue but yere there are many who will give you admission.

one more thing i wouls like to tell you is that there are some universities who also consider the number of attempts you have made to clear your back paper

for example : if you have a re-appear in accounts for the first time then they will give you a chance to take admission but if you have got a re-appear in accounts for the second time then you will not be allowed to take admission in that university.

i hope my answer would have helped you!!

Second year optional subject s ,history, psychology, journalism. Specialization choose the one subject ,i had selected journalism but

Sanya Mittal 20th Feb, 2019
You can go can talk to your college authorities once regarding the change of the course specialization if they do not agree to your request then you can do one thing you continue with journalism as your specialization subject and in masters you take up psychology because for M.A in psychology it is mandate that you should have studies psychology as a subject in bachelors . So, do not worry about that try any suggested alternatives and if you have an interest in Organizational / Industrial psychology then you can go for MBA in Human resources.  FUTHER, if you face any queries you can ask again.

I hope this would suffice your query.

This application will be a combined application for all courses you wish to apply and for all University of Delhi Colleges. (For some colleges, the colleges have their own personal application form also.) After the application form, the University will reopen its portal on 20th May 2019 to input the marks, corrections etc and the sports and ECA trials will also begin. The admission takes place on merit basis, ie, the colleges release their respective merit basis and you will get admission on the basis of your class 12th percentage.

The cutoff for Journalism in the first merit list in 2018 of Lady Shri Ram College was as follows :

General Category : 97.75

OBC : 95.5

SC : 94.5

ST : 94

PWD : 90

The college takes admission on the basis of a test. The interested students need to fill the form on the University portal and then register for the test. The eligibility criteria to appear in the test is an aggregate 50% in class 12th to appear in the entrance exam.
