Hello,

The average salary for a Medical Representative is Rs.16000 to 19000 per month in India. To become Medical Representative you must have basic knowledge in medicine field and you should have an educational background in Biology or life sciences. You must have proven medical sales experience in this field. But salary varies from Company to Company. It also depends on the the experience you have in this field and the relevant skills you have.

If you want to become a medical representative then there are no such particular requirement. Most of the reputed pharmaceutical companies require at least a graduation, in any discipline. The selection procedure consists of a group discussion and personal interview. The product training will be given to you by the company, and it is an intensive program. You need to have the ability to put your points quickly and build up a relation of mutual trust with the doctor.
