Kanith Sawkar 1st Nov, 2020

Hey aspirant,

Since you are looking to obtain admission for MBBS at MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore or Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore; and as you have mentioned that you belong to state of Himachal Pradesh, so for admissions you will have to apply for management quota seats at these colleges. As these are private medical colleges, they offer management seats for admission to MBBS and any student from the country who has qualified NEET can get admission.

Hope it helps. All the best!

Which MBBS college is better - Dr Vasanrrao Power Medical collge, Nasik or NKP Salve Inst of Medical science, Nagpur?

DrTeeth 29th Oct, 2020

Both of the institutions (Dr Vasantrao Pawar MC Nasik as well as NKP Salve Institute of medical science Nagpur) are private colleges established in the year 1990.

NKP institute has more seats (more chance of getting in) as well as more faculty. It offers 4 more courses other than MBBS which include MD, MCh, Diploma, and MS.

On the other hand DVPMC has basic amenities like gym, cafeteria. The additional PG courses are MD and MS only.

in ALL in india counselling, vydehi institute of medical science Bangalore is not listed, why ? many colleges not listed MVJ, The oxford medical, east point medical college.. why ?

Kuheli Sanyal 28th Oct, 2020

Hey,

All India counselling accounts for 15% seats of the government medical colleges and deemed universities, central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER.

Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, MVJ medical college, Oxford medical college, East point medical colleges are private medical colleges in Karnataka. As these are not deemed universities hence they are not listed in all India counselling. Admission to these colleges is only through Karnataka state counselling.

I HAVE ANY CHANCES TO GET KEMPEGOWDA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE AS MY NEET 2020 SCORE IS 457 ( general category state domicile uttar pradesh )

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 28th Oct, 2020

In 2019, under State Quota, an All India Rank of 78092 secured a score of 457 and got a seat in KIMS under Management Quota. Now with a score of 457, your chances are slim because the cut offs have increased considerably this year. Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
