I dont belong to karnataka ,but i am SC do i belong to SCG category?

Hi Revanath,

If you do not belong to the state of Karnataka then the category benefits can not be claimed by you for the government medical colleges of the state of Karnataka.

You can go for the private colleges but not for the government ones.

Dear Candidate

See as per your Marks-250 which is very low it is difficult to get a Government Medical Seat even if you have a state quota and another quota if applicable. You should have maintained a score above 550 to be on the safer side.

Hi Raj,

Well usually, the subsidized fee seat for any student is often described on the basis of marks you get in NEET.

In many states there are government quota seats in private colleges at lower fee structure as compared to the normal fee structure.

With 186 marks in NEET 2019 I really don't think that you will be able to get a MBBS or BDS seat in any indian medical government college. Although you are from OBC category, but I don't think that you still have a chance to get a seat

At this rank, it wouldn't be a cakewalk to scorea seat ina by government college in Karnataka.

Although you might still consider sitting for counseling. If you don't get what you still have enough holes to fill since you're scores not that bad and try again next

there is no scholarship system in medical private colleges of india. most private colleges have two type of seats- gov quota and management. gov quota seats cost way less than management quota seats because they are partially funded by government. and getting those seats depend on your marks and
