Hello niveditha,

In general, first to qualify in NEET, a General Category candidate has to score 50% of the top NEET score. It is 40% for SC, ST, OBC. For example, if the top NEET scorer has scored 500, General Category candidates should score atleast 250 and SC,ST,OBC should score

I belong to sc catetgory and i got 270 marks in NEET 2019 can i got the goverment medical college or semi goverment college

Anisha Mohanty 7th Jun, 2019

Hello!

The chances of getting a government seat with 270 marks are very low, as most government colleges require at lease 500+ marks, even considering your category and state quota.

We suggest you also look into private medical colleges. Here's a list:

With a score of 218 in SC category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 349 was required to fetch one a seat in the Maldah medical college in SC

What is the minimum score required to get admission in private medical dental college?

Anisha Mohanty 7th Jun, 2019

Hello!

For a private dental college, you'd have to at the minimum qualify NEET with around 300+ marks, for a decent college with a decent fee. Anything less than that may cause extra fees for your case.

Good luck! Please comment below in case of any further queries!

I got 212 in neet ,23 in gujcet and 83%in 12th board exam.is there any chances of getting in medicine?

Namita Karnik 6th Jun, 2019
Hello aspirant!
You can get into medicine with the NEET cutoff. Though getting in a government college is less likely. But you can surely get in a private medical College.

Since you gujcet percentile is pretty low, there are lesser chances of getting admission through gujcet.
