488 is good but according to previous years unfortunately BMC is ruled out. If you want to study in the south you can get mysore medical college, karnataka institute of medical sciences hubbali, madurai medical college, vijaynagar institute of medical sciences but for BMC you need 565+.. but

You may  get the Medical seat from Government Quota system and not from your hardwork. You may be eating the seat of other student who is in best from you in marks. God give u blessed by benovelent work of Government policies. Please go forward in life.

Expecting 460 marks . Can I (domicile in west Bengal) get admission in govt quota seat in any private medical college of India

Dear Sujit, you haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, 460 marks are less for General Category and OBC category Candidates. Under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories according to 2018 data have been as follows:

General Category: 479
OBC-A: 478
OBC-B: 474
SC:  349
ST: 183
