Stray Vacancy round is conducted by the Central/Deemed University for the remainibg seats. The DGHS will send the merit list in 1: 10 ratio to the College and the admissions are based on pure merit. For example, for every 1 seat available, DGHS will release a list of 10 candidates. And MCI has uploaded the Stray Vacancy merit list at its official website mcc.nic.in. Jenpauh 2019 rank 6007, which privet college she get by counselling?

Himanshu Student Expert 1st Sep, 2019

Hello,
As you have mentioned that your sister's jenpauh rank is 6007 which indeed is very high... But you haven't mentioned her category. Nevertheless, let me tell you that no matter she fall under reserved category or Unreserved category, because with this rank she won't be able to get a seat for bsc nursing in any of the government colleges, because there are very less students who get admission through jenpauh. But she may seek a government seat only if you have ews reservation, because 10% seats are reserved for ews reservation candidates....
See, if she don't get a government seat, then its nothing to worry about it.... Because with this rank you can get a seat in some good private colleges... But she should at least hit a chance.. Maybe she come out to be lucky enough to get a government seat...
Wish her all the best!!!!!
