According to last year scaling score under 100 has given a rank of 9000-10000 . The board has announced cutoff and ranks on it's official website you can check it there . Since there is a major chances of you getting a government college you should opt for it.

The rooms provided to first years are generally spacious. They will provide a bed,a cupboard and a studying table. There are two seaters for first year students. The food of the mess is average. You can't expect lavish facility there. You must know how to survive with other students.

The cut offs for WBJEEB 2019 varies as per the category, number of candidates, difficulty level of the test and top score or rank.

The Cut off according to category are as follows,

General : 70%

OBC : 65%

SC/ST : 62%

Hello,

Yes 400+ is a very good score for Scheduled Tribe in Medical entrance examination, assuming it is out of 720 like in NEET. However getting above 450-500 would be excellent since you can get admission in any good government college. Hope this answer helps!

All the institutes like Indian Institute of Technology, National Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Information Technology are fully central government controlled institutes and other Government Funded Technical Institutes may be semi government or government depending on College to college.
