I am sorry to say but,  national level sports certificate does not help in acquiring placement in medical entrances. NCC(national cadet corps) quota is there and state quota is too given, but national sports certificates doesn't help.

Yes, it has been started in Government colleges too from last Year (2018). Previously it was only in Private colleges. 

However, for each course, only 10 students will get an opportunity to study in government colleges.Till date, only private colleges, which lack quality teaching, were offering paramedical courses.
