Yes 10 % reservation for economically weeker section will be applicable from this year itself. As a matter of fact IITs , NITs  have already implemented it. Post this year more seats will be added into IITs, NITs to accomodate this students.

The Health Ministry have already asked medical colleges to register For conversion of equal number of Diploma seats in MD/MS in accordance to MCI notice. However many colleges have not registered still till the last date. Although the seats will be converted, but it’s not for sure that the seats
