Even with a category, you need to qualify the examination with a decent score to increase your odds of selection.

The chances are very less since the cut off ranks for government seats for GENERAL CATEGORY range somewhere between 1100 to 1600.

I would like to sadly inform you that with this score you wont be able to get a government college in Karnatak as the cut offs go quite high. You can try for some private colleges.

No there is no criteria as such . They have elugibiltu criteria only for the Height,Weight and the Eye sight that they look for as a part of the physical fitness test.
