Sir medical physics is the one of the branches of msc physics or not??

Papiya Mazumder 20th Aug, 2019

Hello,

As per your question, i would say that medical physics is a msc degree but not a subject of msc physics.

Basically, the course MSC PHYSICS is designed for studying diagnosis of human disease, planning and development of equipment for treatments. Students develop understanding of radiation physics, principles of radiation and its kinds used in medical fields.

So those who have interest in dealing with the practical part of human treatment using machines and all, take up this course to find out more details on how to work on it.

People interested opt for a branch named msc medical physics which is a 2 year pg course after which they probably go for medical machinary technical lines.

Good luck.

I am getting Sri Siddhartha academy t begur can I join it and how is college overall?

athira_1490858591 Student Expert 20th Aug, 2019

Hi,

It is a decent college located a bit far way from Bangalore. It has really good infrastructure and other facilities in the campus. For placements, you cannot expect core companies but only mass recruiting companies. For studies and research, it is average since the curriculum is not very impressive. You can go for it though. It is your hardwork that matters at the end much more than the college.

All the best!

How many GMC participating in mopround UP and no of seats including azamgarh And jalone GMC cut off for OBC no link please

Papiya Mazumder 25th Aug, 2019

Hello,

As per your requirement, i would say that there can be no such fixed or exact information regarding this as there are many government medical college participating everu year in mop up round which is basically for filling up seats in central or deemed universities. It is the fill up of vacant seats of previous rounds.

Total seat vacancy can't be said exactly as it will depend on no of students to seat ratio, cur off of the college, your rank and no. Of students applying.

Also, as you are having obc category, you can avail its reservation policy.

So check out its offiial site of the college and see the last cut off and rank. You can predict your chances.

Good luck

Chance to GMC in UP with 537 mark OBC state domicile in mopround Rank1080

Diksha gupta 7th Sep, 2019

Hi,

This year cutoffs have gone high.

So the chances to get a government medical college in uttar Pradesh in mop up round is very low. This year even at 565 score students didn't get government medical college. And since all those students who didn't get a seat at even at 565 would be there in mop up so your chances decreases a lot.

I hope this helps.

As per CBSE latest instruction Is standard maths in class 10 is required for doing medical course in future

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th Aug, 2019
Hello dear student,
Greetings!
The Standard-Level Mathematics assesses higher
Mathematical abilities compared to Basic-Level. Accordingly, the difficulty level
of the Mathematics  Basic is less than that of Mathematics-Standard.
To continue Mathematics as a subject in class XI/XII and further, Mathematics-Standard is to be passed at class X.
But when we talk about medical science stream then you have to study only Physics,  Chemistry and Biology.
I mean Maths isn't there .
So , if you take biology in class 11 and 12 and want to go in medical sector , do mbbs etc , you can freely choose basic Maths .
thankyou

Chance 537marks OBC in Delhi state mopround

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 20th Aug, 2019

Hey.

The cut off for admission in government colleges in Delhi under the State quota for the OBC category in the previous year 2018 was a rank of 17509 and  a score of 511 marks. The cut off changes each year due to several factors like level of difficulty or level of Competition etc. This year as the paper was easier the cut off based on marks will be higher than before. Consider your rank, and the previous year last rank to have a fair estimate of chance of Admission here. You can use the link below to check the previous year trends.
