No, it is not compulsory for an IP person to accompany his/her ward during counselling but the candidate seeking the admission through IP quota should able to submit the 'Ward of Insured Person' certificate issued by competent/designated authority for the purpose by ESIC and fulfill the eligibilty criteria

There is no separate cutoff or preference for defence quota student wanting to take admission in AFMC or any other medical college. Admission is only based on marks scored in NEET Exam.
