Can I get admission to a medical college in west Bengal if I have a previous year migration certificate from Calcutta university?

Joydeep Saha Student Expert 13th Aug, 2019
Hey Tuli !
Ofcourse you can get a seat in a Govt. Medical College  in West Bengal with the Migration Certificate of CU even if that belongs to previous year, but you must keep it in your mind that during document submission, the authority would take in the Migration Certificate which you received after completion of your +2 Level from the School. That particular Document holds a significance in the aspect of admission.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck !

Sir my son in deemed medical college in jnmc eligible for open round of aims counselling but college not allowing what to do

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 13th Aug, 2019
Dear Neeta, that is quite unfortunate to not be able to leave a college for a better college. But the norms regarding this are pretty clear. To let you a vacate a seat means the College has to forgo a potential seat for the entire duration of the course. You might have to shell out the entire fees amount of the course. This needs to be discussed with the Administration of the College.

sir we didnt send the nri documents for MOP up round but we already converted to nri what should we do...please tell me sir

Nishu Kumari 18th Aug, 2019

The Supreme Court of India in year 2016 notified that NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) will be mandatory for admission in MBBS/BDS courses across the country under NRI/PIO/OCI and other foreign National.

A proof being sponsor NRI/OCI/PIO in the form of certificate issue by Indian embassy/ ministry of external affairs, government of India for this purpose along with certificate in the prescribed proforma on non judicial stamp paper of Rs.50 by father/mother/guardian.

In the absence of that certificate a duly notarized undertaking executed by the sponsor and notarized by the notary public of foreign country where the sponsor resides being submitted by the sponsor, it be treated as sufficient as the factom of the residence of the sponsor.

If you have fulfilled the above requirements then kindly keep the papers with you. It might be possible that they would ask for the document after the allotment list and admission procedure. But if you haven't mentioned in the mop up round that you are NRI then it might create problem afterwards. So, better contact the counselling board or mail them.

Good luck!!!

Animesh Vats Student Expert 12th Oct, 2019

Hi,

Well as far as I know then in the online counseling process you are not supposed to send the hard copy of any documents to MCC. This clearly means that you are looking for something else. Can you be more precise in what is your real need is?

I hope this information helps.

All the best.

Hey Aspirant!

It all depends on which category you've had your education in, your academic performance, college's reputation, and your skills.

Top 5 best paying jobs in India are of a lawyer, commercial pilot, doctor, civil services, chartered accountants, engineering and merchant navy. All of them are polar jobs and you have to cross certain eligibility criterias to apply for them, which can be provided by multiple Universities.

Best of luck!
