Hi Venugopalreddy,

In case the reserved seats are left vacant then only they are shifted to general category seats. 25% of seat increase was necessary so that all meritious students can be accommodated and also to prevent seat block by ews reservations.

The chances of getting a government seat with 389 marks are somewhat low, as most government colleges require at lease 500+ marks, even considering your category and state quota. You could get into private colleges and might get waitlisted for veterinary or Bds in govt colleges.

Yes, when the NEET UG applications were started EWS category was not in the scene. EWS was declared after the NEET UG results were declared. EWS category is made available after first round. It can be availed during the second round registration.
