When will choice filling of seats for mop up round in WBMCC site start ?

Kuheli Sanyal 9th Aug, 2019

Hi Subhadra,

Mop up round in West Bengal is a MANUAL ROUND. There will be no choice filling as it is not online.

For participating in the mop up round, if you have already registered and paid the fee, then you need to go the college where mop up round is being conducted. The location is available on wbmcc.nic.in Over there you will be called rank wise and be asked if you want a seat among the leftover seats. If you say yes then you are allotted that college. If you say no then, if you got a seat in previous round then you will retain that seat. Or if you didnt get any seat in previous rounds you have to wait for the college round.

My domicile is Andhra Pradesh, what is the procedure for the mop up council verification of documents & whats last date for such procedure?

Soni sunny anantkumar Student Expert 11th Aug, 2019

Yes,  i understand your query regarding this as i would like to give you a brief about this as follows :

The Mop Up round is the process of counselling of seat allotment in medical colleges by states against the reverted seats from All India 15% qouta. This round is only for those candidates which do not get seats in round 1 and round 2. This is not applicable for the candidates who already got seats alloted. Candidates who are qualified but do not get any seat in round 1 and round 2 they are automatically eligible for Mop Up round. You have to fill separate form for this round. The dates will display at the time of counselling.

It is a chance to get a seat in government college irrespective of lower marks than state cut off.

Hope this helps. All the best!!
