All the subjects in HSC are have to pass. Mainly physics,chemistry,biology,mathematics are important. And also you must get 50% of the subjects in theory. And to pass that subjects you must get 35 marks in the practical and theory. And after that you can get the groups by the preparation

If we look at the closing ranks of last year then most government medical colleges closed around a rank of 10k except for up rural institute of medical science and research which closed at a rank of around 24k.
Plus there are the private colleges wjere the closing ranks
