Your question is not clear.  Can you please elaborate. As far as dropping an year is considered please don't do that for courses like BBA and B.com if you are interested to do it from IP university.  At 12000 rank you will get a college in IP university

Maths is not compulsoty for microbiology, you can pursue microbiology with PCB, even you can have Botany or Zoology as one of the subject in place of Biology. You can sucessfully pursue higher education for Microbiology with PCB at +2 level
