Before directly proceeding to the cut-off for DCH, let me tell you something about it- Diploma in Child Health (DCH) is a post graduate diploma course of 2 years duration which deals with the nursing care of infants, children and also adolescents at the community level as well as at primary and secondary levels of health care.

Admission in DCH courses- depends on the score in the Entrance Examination along with the Criteria for class 12 Boards results. Admission to the Postgraduate course is based on the marks obtained in MBBS Degree and subsequent round of counselling.

Mop up rounds as said especially for filling up the seats which aren't occupied. So, all the Universities/Institutes public/private sectors participates in mop up round for filling up there seats. It is also for the Deemed/Central Universities and ESIC Quota. The seats that are vacant due to non-allotted, non joining and non reporting of round 2 will be published on the website and if you are eligible you have to submit fresh choices and the final result will be done on the basis of choice and merit. Students registering for the first time, candidates who already registered but did not get a seat in round 1 and round 2 and all candidates except who hold a seat from round 1 or round 2 are eligible for mop up round.

Analysing last year's data, there is quite a possibility that you might get a DNB seat at your rank. Moreover you belong to reserved category, so the chances if getting admission is higher. You may get clinical DNB seat for your rank at the last round of counselling. Chances would be less to get admission in MD General Medicine through All India Counselling. You can get General Medicine in Deemed Universities through Management quota. You have chances to get a seat in MGM Medical College, Aurangabad, Sri Devaraj URS  Medical College and other colleges also.
