What is Institutional Quota in a particular State and what is its fee structure? Could you please help me out as Ive got 34135 rank in the recent NEET PG and Im being shown good chances to get a seat in MD Genl. Medicine in A. P. please.

Sai Sri Nandan Ch 24th Feb, 2020

Hello,

Institutional quota or seats are the seats held by the college/institution itself . This category does not apply to a state. This seats include Management and NRI seats/quota. It means the desired candidate who wants admission in that particular College/Institute should visit college and then complete admission process by paying requisite fees.

The fees varies from one institution to another. The variation is more pronounced in Private institutions.

You can come back and post a question with a specific college name and we from Careers360 will be more than happy to help.

Hope this was helpful.

Thanks.

Going by previous All India cut offs and your rank, you may decent chances in Medical Colleges like:

Agartala Medical College: Bio Chemistry

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College: Pathology

General Medicine is difficult with this rank. Having said that, this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, difficulty of the exam, and no.of seats available for each specialisation. my neetpg rank is 50 k, can I get any clinicals

Chandrima Ghosh 19th Feb, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

You will be able to get addmission only if you have the cut-off marks of the category you belong to. Also, a government college is tough for you. But a private college is for sure.
