Hi Aspirant.
Hope you are doing well and coming to your question this year trend of manipal has changed little bit exam was conducted out of 800 and negative making is also there so it is difficult to predict rank now. opportunity if getting cse I will say no as your marks is only 35 %.people who scored almost 70% -75% last year got cse.So cse is bit impossible.
Hii,
This year the marking scheme of Manipal entrance test is changed so nobody can predict the cut off.
but you must try to enhance 500+ score to be on a safer side in your second attempt.
ALL THE BEST!!
Hii Rajesh,
No, there is no negative marking. The question paper contains 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English & General Aptitude.
So if you want to solve all 200 of them, you will have to be really, really fast. But since there is no negative marking, you can blindly attempt the questions.
Hey Arjun,
You must be aware of the fact that MU OET exam was conducted out of 200 marks till 2018 and now the pattern is changed. Therefore, to predict the rank (get only a rough estimate), reduce the score out of 200 and check using the following rank predictor:-
Hope this helps.
Hello Rajat,
The most probable rank that you'll get according to me will be around 11k as per previous year records. https://engineering.careers360.com/met-rank-predictor
Since Manipal is a private college, it accepts admission, through Management Quota, and therefore, you should not expect to get CSE at nominal fees through this rank. Also, the algorithms, by which they calculate the rank is not out-sourced, some say they count your wrong answers, in case of coinciding marks, therefore you should not expect a very good rank through these marks. Also, the seats for CSE are around 300 therefore, it will be very hard. Also, the seats for IT are around 170 so similar is the story for IT. But you can get in other campuses of MIT such as in Jaipur or Sikkim.
The core branches like CSE, IT, EEE, Mechanical, ECE, etc have around 220-240 students per batch. The other branches vary from 60-110. In the first year, there'll be 85-90 students a class. Later years it reduces to 60 students per class.
The fees of MIT is quite high, so remember this while opting for MIT. The result of MET 2019 will be announced probably in the first week of May.
Admissions to Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal; Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim and Manipal University, Jaipur will be through MET 2019. Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in their Class 12th can apply for M ET. Check their official website: for more info: https://manipal.edu/mu.html
Hope this Helps.
Regards.
