MET B.Tech
Hello Sohail,
https://www.careers360.com/colleges/manipal-institute-of-technology-manipal
The Manipal Institute of Technology is one of the best private institutes of India. It has very good alumni, network, as well as highly renowned notable alumni which add to the prestige of the college. The college is AAAA rated and was established around 1958. The college takes over 9000 enrollments each year of which most of them are through their entrance exam test i.e. MET (MOUET). The college has no management quota or a donation system.

Well, there is no other option to join the college without having a rank. It is mandatory to appear for their entrance exam, i.e., MET (MOUET), based on which a rank is generated and then there is a normal counseling procedure where branches are allocated in ascending order of the ranks. This is the way how seats are allocated to candidates. There are several direct admission links available on the internet that will charge twice or thrice the normal fees, but please don't consider them, they are all illegal, and there is no surety that they will guarantee a seat to you.
Try the study abroad program at Manipal, where some part of the course is taught in foreign universities, while some years in India. But this method can be thought of special and has maximum fees, but you will get the seat through it.
Please refer to the official website, for more genuine information, or call their admission helpline number:
Hope this Helps,
Regards.
Hi there,Hope you are doing well.Sorry to say but with 8095 rank in MUOET, you don't have a chance to get a seat in MIT Manipal since it closes around 1400-2000 rank for CSE and for CCE it closes around 2500 for the last round of counselling, so you won't be able to get a seat.Hope it would help.Thank You.
Hiiii Navadeep,
MU OET 2019 also known as MET 2019 will be conducted successively from the third week to April to the first week of May. MET 2019 slot booking starts from 4th of April and goes on until 9th of April while the exam dates are April 19 to 28.
Below is the detailed information regarding the examination pattern of MET 2019.
Physics – 50 Questions
Chemistry – 50 Questions
Mathematics – 70 Questions
English & General Aptitude – 30 Questions
Well, talking about the level of difficulty of MUOET paper, the questions are easier as compared to JEE Mains and BITSAT but tougher than State level entrance examinations. This exam demands a lot of speed. You have to be very fast in attempting the questions. Moreover, the most striking feature of this examination is the questions from all the sections will be jumbled, unlike other examinations where you generally find respective questions at respective sections. For example, you can get a physics question right after a chemistry question or maths question. So, you have to be mentally prepared before sitting for this exam. You can aim to score higher in the English and Aptitude section if your English and Aptitude are good. You can also expect the Physics question to be simple but a bit tricky.
I hope the above information about exam pattern and difficulty level of MUOET was helpful. For any other query, feel free to contact anytime.
Thank You and All the Best.
