Yes you can definitely skip an attempt and areappear for the MUOET. However that attempt will be considered as your second attempt and not your third one. Also you should plan in which manner you are going to prepare for the MUOET and effectively utilise this one year gap. Another option being you can take admission in some other engineering college and simultaneously prepare for the MUOET.

Yes may be you get mechanical branch in manipal campus if you score 84marks. Because the cutoff list is not got high in mailal university so hopefully you can get mechanical branch in manipal university
