Should i appear for the exam conducted by manipal for b.tech? is it helpful?

If you want to take admission in private engineering college then you should apply for MUOET (Manipal Entrance Exam), VITEEE, SRMJEEE, AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam), BITSAT Etc.

Prepare hard for JEE Main & JEE Advanced and try to get admission in IITs & NITs, also fill all the above

can i get mech engineering at manipal for 10000 rank?

No you may not get mechanical branch in that rank You have to get atleast 7000 rank so that u can grab it in 2nd or 3rd round counselling

I m aspiring to get into manipal so what do you think would be the cut off to be on the safer side?

Try to score more than 500 marks in your exam to be on safer side. If you want to secure good marks/rank in NEET you have to complete NCERT books for your preparation. You can also refer below details how NEET 2016 topper Het Shah secure top rank in NEET-
