what scope can be kept on material science and nanotechnology

if you opt for material science the bestthing is to go for research but you can do masters and might get a job in the Research and development section of some company. you can also get job after bachelors but that would be field job

Im getng metallurgy in IIT khargpr , dhanbad,varnasi.. Im also getting mech and electrcl in new IITs like Goa,Darwad,Bhilai what u sugest

Personally i will say go for new iits but it also depend on your intrest like if you are intrested in research you can opt iit kgp

NIT Jamshedpur. As per I know tata steel and tata metals take a lot of students from NIT Jamshedpur but this is just from placement point of view

I completed my B.E in metallurgy can I give GATE in mechanical? if I can then can I get job as a mechanical engineer in Public sector unit?

Yes. You can give the Gate in any stream. After a B.Tech in Metallurgy, you can give the Gate in Mechanical but probably face a problem when you apply for different PSUs. However, you can do M.Tech in a different stream.
