I got 127.50 Marks in jenpauh and my category rank in obc is 102 and gmr is 658 can I get a collage in Kolkata government college plaza h

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 27th Jul, 2019

You've a good score and a pretty decent rank. With your rank it may be a little difficult to get a government college considering the fact that there's a huge competition for government colleges but you'll definitely get a private college. But you should wait until the last rounds of counseling to get the best possible option.

Good luck

can i get a government college in westbengal ,with 316 scores from sc catagory?

abhisheksingh19121999_6969616 Student Expert 11th Jun, 2019
Hello,
If I consider the previous year data .Then you have negligible chances of getting admission in any of the government colleges in west bengal even  through state quota .You might get colleges in some other states through all india quota.
The cutoff changes almost every year,so not much can be predicted .cutoff depends on the difficulty level of the paper and the number of students who appeared for the entrance exam.
Just hope for the best

i got AIR 16000 .can i get a seat in AIQ?If yes can you name some colleges?

muppavarapu jyothi 11th Jun, 2019

Hi Vedakumar,

I hope you are doing good. I am sorry for mentioning this but your question is not clear because you didn't mention your category and the states you are interested in because it will be very difficult for us to give names of all the colleges you could get for your rank all over state so next time please make sure you provide all your necessary details in question. Nevertheless, Coming to your query, If you belong to general category you don't have many chances to get government college medical seats under AIQ because there are only around 30k seats under NEET among them only 15% are given under AIQ which are less than 5000 but there are pretty good chances for BDS seats in some colleges under AIQ. But if you belong to some reserved category especially SC/ST then you could definitely get a medical seat as well as BDS seat in good colleges under AIQ.

If you want to predict the colleges you could get for your rank across India then please visit the link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

   I hope this helps.

   All the best.

  Thank you.

Im getting 430 in NEET will I be able to get a seat in coimbatore med college under state quota (bc)category or omadur est med clg chennai

Dr.Chhavi Srivastava 1st Jun, 2019
Hi

I hope you are aware of the fact that Tamil Nadu has the highest cutoff , talking of which last year least marks to secure a seat in Government Medical College and ESIC Hospital, Coimbatore was 600 marks from your category under state quota and in Government Medical College, Omandurar it was 612 marks from your category which means you won't get a seat in either of the above mentioned colleges but you can apply for deemed colleges to be on safer side. Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category
