Hello Dear,

Thakur College of Engineering and Technology was founded in 2001 in Mumbai. The Institute offers 6 UG, 3 PG, and Ph.D. (Technology) programs, these include B.E.

Usha Mittal Institute of Technology (UMIT) is an engineering college in Mumbai. The institute offered a four-year bachelor's degree course in Computer Science and Technology, Electronics and Communications and Information Technology.

As per the placement record and faculty is concerned the Thakur College of Engineering and Technology in mechanical engineering is a better option than UMIT IT.

I am from NT D category, and i noticed that some colleges of maharashtra dont have reserved seat for NT D category, so plz tell me if I applied in such college then through which category seat my admission is possible. plz answer

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 31st Dec, 2020

hi,

see if your desired category dont belongs to any of the category not mentioned in the application form then you may simply go for open category or general category. through competition is quite tough in general category, but if the information and documents are not sufficient to secure category wise reservation then there is no other way then to apply as general category.
