I am 6 class ala aggaminathion rayali

Suganya M 25th Apr, 2025

The JEE Main cutoff varies every year based on several factors such as the number of applicants, difficulty level of the paper, seat availability, and performance of the students. While the official cutoff for JEE Main 2025 will be released after the exams by NTA, we can make a reasonable prediction based on previous years’ trends.

Expected Category-Wise Cutoff for JEE Main 2025 (Qualifying Marks):

  1. General Category : 90 to 92 percentile

  2. EWS (Economically Weaker Section) : 75 to 78 percentile

  3. OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) : 73 to 76 percentile

  4. SC (Scheduled Caste) : 50 to 55 percentile

  5. ST (Scheduled Tribe) : 40 to 45 percentile

  6. PWD (Persons with Disabilities) : 0.1 to 2 percentile

Important Points to Note:

  • These are only qualifying cutoffs . For getting admission into top NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, admission cutoffs are generally much higher depending on the branch and institute.

  • For example, to get Computer Science at top NITs like NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal, you may need over 98 percentile or even higher for General category.

  • State quotas, home state advantage, and gender-based reservations also influence the cutoff.

Tips for Aspirants:

  • Aim for a score that gets you above the 95 percentile to ensure good chances for top colleges.

  • For advanced preparation, track previous year opening and closing ranks of your desired colleges.

  • Focus more on NCERT for Chemistry , and practice mock tests regularly to understand time management.

Final Note:
The official cutoff for JEE Main 2025 will be declared by the NTA on the official website after both sessions are completed. Candidates are advised to regularly check the NTA JEE portal for update

Hello zayn,
Yes, It is fine. You can give your bank details instead of your sister bank details for MHT-CET. They want bank details because sometime they got excessive payment and they returned the payment to their bank which was provided by the candidate.

is MHT-CET AND MH-CET different ?

Hrisheekesh Singh 13th Feb, 2020

Hi Meghana,

MH-CET entrance exam was for both Medical and Engineering which was taken earlier by Maharashtra government.

Nowadays, NEET is being taken for Medical and MHT-CET is taken for Engineering only.

Through NEET you will also get the state level Medical college for MBBS/CDS.

For taking admission in a state level Engineering College you are required to give and qualify MHT-CET exam.

I hope you now understood the difference.
