mam/sir i have finished m.sc microbiology before 3 years...due to my personal issues i took gap for 3 years now am i eligible to write CSIR NET exam

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 31st Jan, 2020

There are 2 options that Candidates can opt under CSIR UGC NET. One is JRF and the other is Lecturership or Assistant Professor. There is no age limit for the position of Assistant professor. But for applying for JRF, the upper age limit is 28 years. It is 31 years for OBC-NCL and 33 years for SC,ST,PWD and female Candidates. If you fulfil this criteria, even with the 3 years gap you can appear for CSIR NET.

what will be my code for neet 2020 if I am in bsc first year with subjects chemistry, zoology and microbiology, and I have given my 12th in 2018 from maharashtra board?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 25th Jan, 2020

Hello Aiman

I Hope that your preparation for neet examination is going good

Since you don't have all of physics, chemistry and biology in your bsc so, Aiman you need to choose the code 02 dear as the code 02 is for those who have passed  12th in the year 2019 or before.

You need to choose code 02 because although you are in bsc right now  but your highest qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Biology remains 10+2 , so you need to choose the code 02.

I hope that you find this helpful,  good luck for your neet examination

Thankyou

Im still studying 1st year degree with subjects (chemistry , botany, microbiology ,and english ) and I had completed my 12th class in 2018 -19, whats the eligible code for neet 2020

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jan, 2020
Hello there!
Greetings!

Code 3 is for those who are pursuing graduation and have physics, chemistry and biology in their graduation but since you don't have all of physics, chemistry and biology in your graduation
so you need to choose the code 02 as code 02 says those who have passed class 12th in the year 2019 or before.
This is because although you are in graduation right now  but the highest qualification in which you had physics, chemistry and biology remains 10+2.

I hope that it helps you :-)

Thankyou

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Jan, 2020

Arun, your qualification code will be 02. This is because even if you haven't completed your B.Sc 2nd sem, the highest qualification in which you had Physics, Chemistry and Biology is your 12th and hence your code will be 02. Code 02 says: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
