Whether it is M.Sc in Food Technology or M.Sc in Marine microbiology, both fields has equal opportunities and scope as of now.

Though there are more colleges offering M.Sc Food technology than M.Sc Marine Microbiology.

I will suggest you to go for marine microbiology, since you had a bachelor's degree in microbiology and there is less competition,

hi,

see the eligibility criteria is different for different institution. for kj soumya institute of medical sciences it needs three years bachelor degree in medical lab technology to pursue post graduate in dmlt. in general you need to have a bachelor degree preferably  in chemistry or zoology with 50% marks in graduation to apply for this course.
