Microbiology is a three years course and the minimum eligibility is the candidate have to pass class 12th in Science with minimum 50% aggregate.It is based on doing Bsc and after that Msc in the course and different Universities have different Entrance exam for admission.It is a good field to get into and also it has ample number of wider future prospects.

As per your query, you did your graduation in zoology, if you want to go for higher studies you can either choose microbiology or zoology itself. You can get into professional teaching field.

see your 12th score is below average which makes it difficult to get admission in tier 1 institute. now the admission system and cutoff score varies for each colleges every year and depends on number of applicants for any particular course, seat intake etc. so it is difficult to say the chances of yours for that particular college. since this is a private university you may try for management quota also.

I suggest you to apply for more colleges as well to secure the chances of getting admission.
